Parents Passed Away

Unfortunately both my parents passed away.Dad in 2008 and mom unexpectedly in 2009.
I was not using any of my internet accounts while these folks were ill.No time for blogging, forums or anything here. It was too important to be with them. It has also taken some time to get on my feet as best as possible.I hope to continue on with this blog highlighting real conservatives and focusing on current events.Since i was last here the tea party movement began and has since grown.
Sen Scott Brown was elected to destroy the filibuster proof majority the Dems had in Congress.i hope the Dems will lose their majority totally in the 2010 elections so we can put the brakes on the arrogant admin of Obama. This has to be a 1 term President.He has no respect for the Constitution or the people.He is a Progressive on the march towards Socialism and we the people reject this.
Our founding fathers had it right. This is what we,the people,are on the march towards.A representative government.Obama can take his little dictatorship and leave the office he should never have had.Meanwhile we must stop him by legislature and let the will of the people rule.

I'm including these conservative commentators because they are as much leaders in the Conservative movement as our political figures.You would think i might pick Ann Coulter-but it's gotta be Laura Inghram. I first discovered Laura on EWTN(she's a convert to the Catholic faith)and later on Fox News.She's not like Ann with lightning bolts flying from her hands but she still gets her point across.

Sean Hannity is the commentator who broke the Jeremiah Wright story on Fox news-since it seems all the other Obama outlets were ignoring it.
Whatever else you can say about this truly conservative commentator he does do his homework.

We know we can expect Sean to keep the Obama administration on its toes for the next 4 yrs and may be the only one in TV journalism today that will actually get the story out there.

Sean has online fans everywhere(as well as his liberal detractors)and to be a fan of Sean it's referred to as being "Hannitized."
I've been hannitized and intend to stay that way. He did a great interview with Sarah Palin during the McCain/Palin campaign. He also did a last interview with Pres Bush that I will always remember.

Who IS Barrack Obama?

I don't know if any of you noticed but Obama had a celebrity fundraiser back when he was campaigning. What you may have also noticed is that it was kept in the dark. If you got wind of it you were lucky.
Now that the campaign is over and he's won the presidency the celebrities are coming out of the woodwork. Our favorite, Susan Sarandon, is one of them.She was the one that was going to leave the country if Bush were elected. Evidently she didn't.Of course if she had been serious at all we'd have packed her bags and bought her the airline tickets.I'd have been glad to start a non profit for her cause;HELP SUSAN LEAVE THE COUNTRY.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. A deeper and more troubling aspect to Obama is the mythology.I want to ask the question;Who IS Obama?
You see Obama doesn't know who Obama is.
He has no core principles or values to take to the oval office.
His policies(or lack of)are fly by night platitudes.
He lacks character. The President can have policies but he also has to have character and few ppl cared.

To the radical left wing he is a radical left wing idealouge.
To the conservative Republicans he is a centrist.Then he got Hilary to back him(with the promise of a position)and he grabbed the majority of Puma's.
So does anyone really know what Obama is going to do once he takes the oath of office?
We know he's going to close Gitmo.He said so.He's throwing that bone to the leftists.
He picked Gates to head the Dept of Defense and threw out that bone;but look at his other appointments!

So which is it?
Obama sold his myth based on a historical presidency. The first African American President. This is certainly something to celebrate but it's going to come down to more than race in the end.One day you have to look at Obama and judge him not as the first black president but AS President.


You know what we're really going to get with Obama?
WIndmills from sea to shining sea.This is so he can blow his hot air around.
Dreams are what this country was made of but let's not forget the hard work and VALUES upon which it was founded either. Dreams only get you so far.Sooner or later you have to get your head out of the clouds or here:


Obama doesn't know who Obama is anymore than we do and until he does we are going to have an empty suit in the White House.
Someone with more style than substance.
The media will eat it up,spoon feed the adoring public but eventually, for some of us, the style will wear thin.
There comes to the oval office that crisis moment when you have to exhibit leadership,count on your character and make a tough decision based on principle.
We can only hope he rises to the occasion. I doubt it.
